Creating a brand position then supporting it with programming and events was the challenge. Having the image of Atlanta’s environmental “green station” was something we wanted for our audience. We produced an Earth Day Concert, partnered with Paul McCartney for the “Green Concert” in Piedmont Park, a co-sponsor of the “Go Green Expo” at the Cobb Galleria and our Circle of Friends franchise supported Earth Share of Georgia. “Rock for Roots” was a unique way to celebrate both dave-fm’s and Atlanta’s progressive environmental support.
